Tech Designer in Network & Security

The team belongs to Networking & Security and the grouping of Solution Design, Automation & Architecture, a central part of Tele2 that works in areas with strong growth and great market potential. About the Role

As a Tech Designer in Network & Security with us, you will become a central part of a smaller but highly competent team of six employees within Solution Design. You will work with strategically important products and services within Tele2's network portfolio (e.g., LAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, Security). The role also includes supporting the two solution architects who are part of the team.

The role means that you will primarily delve into complex solutions for our corporate customers, collaborating closely with our top internal experts, sales teams, product management, and bid management. You will serve as the technical expertise that translates and designs customer needs into concrete, tailored, and innovative network solutions. You will be responsible for everything from technical strategy and calculation work to designing and presenting solutions to customers. The role also includes some work where you support our solution architects with the development of our central systems within network services. Participating in bidding work and procurements for both the private and public sectors is a natural part of your daily routine.

Your main responsibilities:

• Work in a grouping with senior designers who work within Tele2's network portfolio to design and dimension complex network solutions in areas such as LAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, and Security.
• Support our solution architects with the development of our central systems within network services.
• Work closely with our sales teams, product management, technical groups, and bid management to create tailored solutions.
• Collaborate with our partners and suppliers to ensure the best solution for the customer.
• Be responsible for calculation work, technical strategy with other technology managers, and presentations of our solutions.
• Participate in bidding work and procurements for both the private and public sectors.

We would like you to be based at Tele2's office in Östersund. Regular travel is a natural part of the role to meet customers and partners. The position is full-time, and we offer a hybrid workplace.

Who are you?

To thrive and be successful in this role, we see that you:

• Have a high level of engagement and drive to move forward and develop yourself and Tele2 according to strategic direction.
• Have experience in similar work such as Solution Architect, Presale Engineer, Technical Sales Support, Network Specialist, or equivalent in the Networking field.
• Have previous experience in sales and/or product strategy.
• Have extensive experience in data communication in areas such as LAN, WLAN, Security & SD-WAN.
• Are communicative, have good presentation skills, and enjoy giving presentations to both large and small groups.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Have experience in bidding work and procurements.

It is highly meritorious if you have:

• Knowledge of Cisco and Fortinet's product portfolios.
• Particular emphasis is placed on knowledge regarding Cisco Enterprise Agreement (EA).
